The first time I went tanning the lady suggested I use the Luminary sampler because it is a lotion considered for all skin types. I used it, liked it and decided to order it. Several weeks later it still hadn't arrived at the salon so I had to use different samplers. Some smelled weird and others dried out my skin, but the main thing I noticed was my skin was no longer getting tan, I was actually losing the tan I had and realized how badly I wanted this lotion. Shortly after I found out it was going to cost me $95.50 for this lotion from the salon, that price did not sit well with me, so I shopped online and found this great price. :) I ordered it on a Monday night and arrived Wednesday Mid-afternoon in New condition. Since arrival, I have actually been excited to go tanning. It works well with my skin (I have very fair skin) and feels great as well. The "Perfumy" smell isn't to strong either. After one use I noticed a difference and have noticed a difference since. The only thing about it is although the title says bronzer, everyone at the salon told me there is no bronzer in it. I will definitely buy from this seller again when my bottle gets low.

Try this...it turns you dark quickly. I have red hair and fair skin - this is my second bottle of this lotion & it's given me a great tan without burning.

This lotion gives a very good color, but it seems to take more than normal lotion to spread it all over the body. It smells great out of the bottle and not too bad after the tan. I don't think anything can make you smell GOOD after a tan. I didn't care much for the little blinking light thing on the front of the bottle so I pulled it off. I got this lotion for a great price here on Amazon, but would never pay retail for it. Thanks Amazon.

I work at a tanning salon so I have tried my fair share of tanning lotions, but this is by far the best smelling,most moisturizing, and most effective tanning lotion I have used. The bronzers are great; very dark and not at all orange. I agree with many of the other reviews that the lotion has a light, perfumey scent, much like that of a Ralph Lauren perfume. My favorite part about it though has got to be the moisturizing benefits. It goes on really smooth and moisturizers for hours, which every avid tanner knows, will not only help you deepen your tan, but also maintain your tan and prevent it from fading. I absolutely love it!!!

I really wanted to like this stuff, because I mean come on! The bottle lights up!! How cool is that?! But honestly, I went from using 24 Carat Gold to this crap and I saw no difference in my color..I burned all the time because of the silicone that's in it..Don't waste your time on this..Very disappointed.

Its the BEST, it costs 120.00 at the salon I go to. Out of the 5 girls that work at the salon 3 use this. It is firming, makes your skin feel so soft and smooth, and gives a natural bronze color. Very pleasant scent, not cocnuty. Im hooked

I bought Luminary from my local tanning salon. I paid $125 for it. With such a high price and it being Designer Skin, I was expecting magic. This lotion did absolutely nothing for me. The smell is great, very smooth, but the effects... none. I have used this lotion dozens of times and have noticed no difference. I will definately not purchase this lotion again.

Tanning lotions are legally salon exclusive for two reasons: 1- You never know if the lotion in the bottle is authentic. 2- Tanning salons don't make money on anything else. Those are small businesses that are getting undermined by these online sellers.
